A Christmas to Remember Spotlight – Can’t Live Without You

The Christmas train keeps on rolling this week, and we are getting another look into a novella from the A Christmas to Remember novella collection! I just cannot explain how excited I get about everything Christmas. I kind of want to start decorating, but my family is good about calmly fiercely implying it is way too early! So I just imagine the house is decorated 🙂

Today I’m interviewing Sawyer Chasin from Ginger Solomon’s novella Can’t Live Without You. Ginger is a Christian, a wife, a mother to seven, and a writer—in that order (mostly). She writes or reads inspirational romance of any genre, and if she’s busy homeschooling, doing laundry, or fixing dinner, books are on her mind. She’s a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, president of her local writing group, and blogs regularly for InspyRomance.com and at gingersolomon.com.

Interview with Sawyer!

Everyone has a physical and/or character trait that we’d like to change about ourselves. What is it that most displeases you about you?

I get angry too easily, but I don’t always express it in positive ways. I’m somewhat passive-aggressive, though I’ve worked hard to overcome that tendency.

Do you have any quirks?

I don’t like my food to touch, unless it’s a casserole. In that same vein, I only eat one item on my plate at a time—like I eat all the broccoli at once then all the chicken, etc. It’s weird, and I’m not sure why I do it.

On my goodness I think we are twins separated at birth! My family always picks on me for keeping my food separate! How would you describe yourself?

Physically, I guess I’m handsome. At least that’s what my sister and best friend tell me when I wonder why women come up and talk to me. As one of the heirs to the family business, I don’t trust strange women who come up to me. I can never tell if they’re sincere or looking for a sugar-daddy. Is that term still used? <chuckles> I love Jesus and do my best to follow His guidance.

Yes, I’m pretty sure I’ve still that term used once in a while! What do you value the most?

My relationship with God comes first, but after that I value my family above all else. The choices I’ve made, while not always what I’ve wanted, have been to keep my family together and safe.

Who do you most admire, and why?

My best friend, Clarissa Harding. In order to help our family, she agreed to an outlandish proposition from my siblings—one I encouraged her to accept—despite the great personal cost to herself. She has always been kind but opinionated, at least with me, but this choice … well, it broke my heart and filled it all at the same time.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today! Readers, want to learn more about Sawyer? But this set now and start reading!!
