Dylan’s Faith

I recently read a wonderful book by author T.K. Chapin. I encourage you to get a copy today and start reading. Once I started reading this I had a hard time putting it down. I just had to know what happened to the characters! See my review below.

Dylan Holden is a young man with a bright future ahead of him. He loves his brother, he enjoys making furniture, and he loves the Lord. Dylan even shows interest when Allison comes to town with her two children. But what happens when things don’t go smoothly? How do you react when your father delivers shocking news when you already have a bad relationship?

Dylan’s Faith is a wonderfully written book about a young man that is forced to rely on his faith to get him through some difficult times, and hope that others saw his faithfulness to the Lord. Although Dylan loves his brother, he does not appreciate his alcoholic lifestyle. Constantly rescuing him from barfights, will on time cost Dylan his entire future?

Dylan receives shocking news from his father, who is sick and may not have much longer to live. But will his fathers wishes for the family inn affect their already strained relationship? Later Dylan’s father has an even bigger shock, one that will not only show readers the power of God’s love, but the power of prayer. What a wonderful reminder about the importance and necessity of having an active prayer life.

I enjoyed the ups and downs of Dylan and Ally’s relationship as well. When her ex came to town Dylan struggled on the inside, but acted like such a gentleman and allowed Ally the space she needed to sort things out. Dylan’s examples of faith throughout this entire book were such a joy to read and a great reminder of how we much rely of God’s timing, not our own. Thank you for another great story!

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
