My Perspective

Carol Keen has written a story that will wake you up! I do not suggest reading it at night, or alone, or in any setting that may scare you. It was a bit intense for me at times, and I found that I had to put it down and read a lighter book every now and then. But the truth is, creepy books aren’t always my thing. I love suspense, and I love mystery, but this was a bit different. That being said, I did find it interesting to read. It was a slow start for me, but after it settled into a good writing groove, I found it to be better.

There is a lot going on in this story, and a lot of characters. Don’t let it overwhelm you, but understand that you need to pay attention to everyone and their surroundings from the start. You’ll find that the ultimate good versus evil theme is woven into the story and has you cheering for the good the whole time. All the while looking over your shoulder, and maybe walking a little bit faster in the dark to your next destination. It’s not like a Stephen King book or anything, but if you’re like me, it will make you act a little differently in the immediate time surrounding the reading of the book. If you are into paranormal thrillers, then this is the book for you.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
