Happy Friday my reader friends! Have you ever had a book that you see everywhere, but are a little nervous to open it up because it’s something different then you are used to reading? This week’s book is exactly that for me. I’ve had it for awhile now, but just haven’t brought myself to open it up. It even sat on my daughter’s bookshelf for awhile because she really wanted to read it, until I snatched it back from her. What brought me to all of a sudden decide to grab it? Well, I told myself in 2016 that I was going to branch out and try more genres. I did that, sort of. Let’s just say I did it in a way that was still in my comfort zone. My goal for this year to extend beyond that. Still staying in the Christian writing world of course (with a few here and there that aren’t, but they are clean), but looking into new types of books to just expand my horizons. And so here I am, opening this book to share the first line with you.
This week’s first line comes from……
Unblemished by Sara Ella
This is all my fault.
I know. It doesn’t really tell you much. But it certainly grabs your attention! And now it’s your turn. I hope you’ll grab the book nearest to you and post the first line in it. Don’t forget to visit my friends and see what they are reading this week too 🙂 Happy Friday!
