First Line Friday – My Dearest Dietrich

Posted by abakersp in First Line Friday / 3 Comments

Welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books! The good releases are continuing this month. So many I can’t keep up with them!! Today I’m going to feature the latest from Amanda Barratt. I cannot even tell you how excited I am to read this. I just have one more book to finish before I can, which hopefully will be this weekend. SQUEEEEE!!!

Today I’m sharing the first line from chapter one instead of the prologue. I think it’s more exciting 🙂

“A dictatorship is like a snake. If you step on its tail, it will bite you.”

Now it’s your turn to share your first line! Grab the book nearest to you and share the first line in the comments. Don’t forget  to check out what everyone else is reading at Hoarding Books!

Really want to read My Dearest Dietrich.
My first line is from The Number of Love by Roseanna White:
    London, England 1917
The numbers marched across the page in a glory all their own.
    Fabulous book as expected.
