First Line Friday!

Friday. It’s that day of the week we all look forward to. Or is it just me? I love knowing the weekend is so close by and I’ll soon have lots of family time! Oh, and let’s not forget lots of extra time to read!! And thanks to my sweet blogging friends (find their blogs at the end of this post), I have another reason to look forward to Friday. I have joined this lovely bloggers in First Line Friday’s!

Welcome to my first edition of First Line Friday. Every week I will post the first Line out of my latest read and invite you to share your current first line! Make sure you visit each blogging site to see what they are reading too. I cannot wait to see what everyone is reading today!

This week my first line comes from the talented and lovely Rachel Hauck. I love reading her books! Recently I discovered I had not yet read The Wedding Dress, although I really couldn’t tell you why. How did I miss this one? Boy am I glad I’m reading it now. I am absolutely loving it. As a bonus, a friend of mine got engaged recently so the timing is perfect. Guess who’s reading it next!

    My first line today comes from Karen Sargent’s ‘Waiting For Butterflies’:

    I’m with you there on the Fridays. 🙂 For me, it’s a freer day, since I teach (music) on Tuesday-Thursdays, and Mondays are the catch-up-from-the-weekend days. 😉

    Welcome to First Line Friday. I look forward to reading more of your posts. I listen to the Popcast with Knox and Jamie every week, and Jamie recommended the book The Throwback Special by Chris Bachelder.
    It’s a novel about 22 men who gather every fall to re-enact what many believe to be the “most shocking play in NFL history.” Hence, the first line…
