Billy Graham remains one of the foremost pastors in America’s history, and parents, grandparents, pastors, teachers, and more will want this lovely edition of God’s Good News for the children in their life to show them the way to the cross and to help them begin a lifetime of following Christ. God’s Good News is a collection of more than 60 favorite Bible stories told in actual Bible text from the New King James Version, including Noah, Joseph, Moses, David, Jesus, and the disciples, and each story is equipped with a takeaway devotion from Rev. Graham. The takeaways will help children focus on God’s Word, apply it to their lives, and begin walking with God and sharing the good news from an early age. The striking artwork from Scott Wakefield will help children connect with the timeless Bible stories and messages from Rev. Graham.

“Christianity is good news. . . . When we open up the Bible, it is good news from cover to cover. It’s the good news that God loves us.” —Billy Graham

My Perspective

What a wonderful way for children to learn about the bible! The illustrations are beautiful, and bring each and every story to life for the child who is reading. They are vivid, fun and eye catching. Each story states where in the bible it is found, which is a great tool for children learning where different books are in their bible. Parents and Sunday School teachers can use them as lessons, or just as daily devotionals. At the end of each story Graham provides words of wisdom that will touch a child’s heart and help the stories to resonate even more inside of them.

I would gladly share this book with the young people on my church and family, and I encourage you to do the same! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
