His Encouragement

Hello friends! Welcome to His Encouragement, a weekly dose of biblical encouragement to help get you through your week! Make sure you check out what my friends have to say too. Let’s all encourage each other!

How are you all doing? There’s so much changing in our lives, and I think the thing that’s hit me the most is not being able to go to church and be with my church family. Yes, we are live streaming, but there’s something to be said about being together with God’s people. Amen?

Today I want to share a verse that my pastor shared with us during our Wednesday night service. It was just the verse I needed to hear with all the craziness going on.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

I’m so thankful we have a mighty God who is with us at all times. We have no reason to fear – even when we cannot gather together (in person) with our church family. I hope you’ll join me in praying for our communities, our country, and our world! Pray that people would adhere to social distancing guidelines, that people would help one another, and above all that through this people would come to know Jesus as their Savior!

What’s been on your heart this week friends? I hope you’ll share in the comments, and please don’t forget to visit my friends and see what they’re sharing this week!

  1. Grateful that we have a God we can turn to in these times. We are not alone we have eachother, fellow Christians who can pray!
My daughter in law ‘s father had open heart surgery today. I haven’t heard back yet. Her Mom isn’t allowed to stay with him. He will be in 3-5 days.
Our pastor’s son and grandson had high fevers. They are waiting on test results. The little boy is better.
