Happy Thursday friends! How has your week been? The weather has been so crazy here. A few days ago the wind chill had us at -26! Guess what tomorrow’s high for the day is? 55! How crazy is that?? Central NY never disappoints when it comes to roller coaster weather 🙂
I’ve been thinking lately about how everyone feels like they get a clean slate in the start of the new year. (I am one of them) You’re going to do all the things you didn’t do the year before, and actually DO them this year. The past is behind you and it’s time to look ahead at all the promises and opportunities that you hope the year will bring. Well, the bible tells us that we are all new when we are in Christ. It’s kind of the same principle. When we accept Christ and ask forgiveness for our sins, we get a clean slate. We are a new person, a changed person.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
I’m so very thankful that Christ wiped away my sins and allowed me to start fresh. And the good news is, when I do mess up (because we all do – we are human after all), he’ll forgive me when I ask and I can start again! Mind boggling isn’t it?

I love this post! I’m so grateful that all I have to do is go to Him and ask for forgiveness, and He says, “All is forgiven!” It is mind boggling. ?
