Hello friends! It has been busy around the Baker household, as usual for this time of year. We’ve also come into some things in our family that have required us to lean on the Lord for guidance, something that I at times find hard to do. It’s not that I don’t trust God, I do. But sometimes I can be a bit of a control freak, and try to work through things on my own instead of relying on the Lord. Have you ever been like that? I hope I’m not alone!
Well, the Bible has a great verse, well two actually, that remind me that I need to trust in the Lord. He knows what is best for me (and you!) and He will guide and direct as He sees fit. This verses for this week’s installment of His Encouragement is…..
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Such a good portion of scripture to have tucked in your heart. The bible is full of good verses, you just have to remember to read it 🙂
