His Encouragement – Mark 10:27

Welcome to another addition of His Encouragement! I’m so glad that my blogging friends Trisha and Nicole started doing this. To be honest, it has really helped me be encouraged through the work week, which when you are working in the world is kind of a necessity! This week has been a difficult week for our family. My husband has a new health issue, my dad was in the hospital, and a very good friend of mine (who is my age) had a mini stroke and is in the hospital. When it rains, it pours. But God sees all this. There is a verse that I Iove to read when times are tough and I’m feeling blue.

“And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it I impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”

Mark 10:27

God knows what we are all going through, but if we try to get through it on our own, it’s going to feel impossible. This week I have reminded myself that with God ALL things are possible. Even getting through health problems which seem to be a constant in my life right now. He has a plan for everything that is happening, we just have to trust in His ways and try not to take measures into our own hands so to speak. We sing a song in church that goes, “Nothing is impossible, when you put your trust in God. Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in His word.” I’ve been singing this song a lot lately and it’s really lifted my spirits amongst everything that’s happening. Is there a song that you like to sing when you’re feeling discouraged, or troubled?

Now it’s your turn friends. What verse is on your heart today? Make sure you visit these other wonderful blogs for some more encouragement!

  1. Such a fantastic reminder!
I’m sorry for all the rough stuff you’ve been dealing with. Praying for you and your family and friend. God’s got you!

  2. We all at times have trouble trusting even in God, but even when we are faithless he is faithful.
