Top Ten Tuesday – Binge Worthy TV Shows

Happy Tuesday reader friends and welcome to Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! Today we are talking about tv shows that are binge worthy. I know what you are thinking – how in the heck do I have time to watch tv? Well, I do and I don’t. Now that we’re getting into fall and winter months, there will be a little more time than before. And there are just some shows that I must watch (some are included here and some are not), so you kind of make the time. Just like I make time to read books by my favorite authors 😉

So here are my Top Ten Binge Worthy Shows, in no particular order. And…….I do want to disclose that these are not Christian shows. Yes, there are sometimes scenes and topics I don’t necessarily agree with or want to see. Honestly, I kind of skip over those parts, or look away. But I want to be upfront with you, my reader friends, before you see the list and gasp. Okay, here goes!

This show just makes me laugh, a lot. There are so many scenes my family and I will reference today that just immediately make us giggle.

My husband and I actually started watching this show when it first came on, and then got away from it. Enter my daughter who started watching it, and got us back into it. We’re all caught up and ready to go when this next season starts. I like the medical aspect of it more than anything – they do some pretty cool stuff! But I have been sad to see all these characters go away!

This show just really holds my interest. Yes, they seem to have the same scenarios every week (like they are helping someone, something goes wrong, and they need to correct it), but even so I love watching it. The characters are entertaining, and I love watching Walter’s development.

Now, I have to be clear on this one. I like the orignal CSI – when Grissom, Sarah and the whole gang was there. I kind of felt like it fell apart after that, and to be honest only watched it here and there. But the early stuff? Yep I could watch that all day!

I love the character dynamic on this show. On top of solving crime – which is action packed and intense at times, there are moments of comedy that just make the show all around loveable and enjoyable.

I know this show is new, but we love it! Shaun Murphy is so unique, and likeable, and honest. Oh my goodness……I am scared to see what happens this season with his “father/mentor” because I have a feeling it’s going to be a tear jerker!!

I know what you’re thinking – they just cancelled this show. I won’t get into how upset I was over that. What a unique show! The history, the characters, the chase, Wyatt. Oops, sorry, I just kind of snuck him in there 😉 I am going to miss it when it’s gone, but hope it’s on Netflix for a binge day in the future!

Don’t judge – I happen to LOVE cartoons. Phineas and Ferb is probably one of my favorites of all time. They are fun, quirky, unique, and a riot! I could watch this show any day of the week, with or without a child in the same room!

This is the most emotional show I have ever watched in my life. I have cried over something in almost every single episode. Even so, I would binge watch it any day. It’s just that good people! Speaking of which, I think I better get me some tissues soon before the next season starts. Maybe I should buy stock in tissues. Just sayin.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to watch Food Network. The reality shows, baking shows, and cooking shows. I don’t discriminate. But my all time favorite will forever be the Pioneer Woman. Even if I’ve seen an episode five times, I’ll still watch it again, because I love her! She’s so down the earth, and makes things that I actually want to eat lol. I have all her cookbooks, some of her cookware and dishes, and hope to someday make a journey to The Merc. It will happen people!

So there are some of my favorite binge worthy shows. And there are some that didn’t make the list, either because I forgot them, or didn’t have enough room. Like Person of Interest – oh man, that should have made it. It may or may not have to do with Jim Caviezel’s voice lol. What I meant to say is it is becuase the show is so different and fun.

Now it’s your turn to share. What are your favorite binge worthy shows??

  1. Some good picks there. I’m a cartoon fan too, third generation, my mother and her dad also loved cartoons at every age of their life. My preference is SpongeBob, but I could give Phineas and Ferb a shot sometime 🙂

  2. Agree with FRIENDS and Greys… I LOVE This Is Us but I don’ think my heart could take a binge watch lol It wrecks me! I love the pioneer women stuff but admit I’ve never seen the show (no cable).
