Wondering Wednesdays – Resolutions of the Past

Posted by abakersp in Wondering Wednesdays / 1 Comment

Welcome to Wondering Wednesdays, a weekly post to learn more about me and other bloggers ðŸ™‚

Today’s questions is –  What resolutions from past years have you been able to keep?

To be honest, this is a hard one. It’s sort of why I don’t make them anymore lol. I can think of one.

A few years ago I made a resolution to read the entire bible in a year. I had tried over the years, but could never stick with it. A friend of mine let me borrow a devotional which had the one year reading plan with it. While I admit to not reading every single day, I did finish by December 31st! It is the one and only time I’ve done this. I tried last year, but never finished. And you know what? I’m okay with that. There’s no sense in lamenting over the past anyways 🙂

What about you? Have you kept any resolutions over the years? Share in the comments!

  1. I walked – no ran – away from resolutions several years ago with the movement to choose ONE WORD. It’s worked well and offers a concise and achievable goal that fits into many different aspects of life.
2021 is Brave. Since January 1 God has tested this multiple times. It’s required a tighter grip on him to achieve. Which is good!
