My Review
I love reading the Sacred Bond series by Lee. She does such a wonderful job of bringing two characters together that don’t seem like the right fit, but by the end fit like a perfect puzzle. I enjoyed reading the newest installment just as much as the others.
My heart went out to Dani. Here is a mother who is trying to make it on her own with four children, a not so great paying job, and a huge heart for helping strays. She always sees the good in people and tends to give them a chance before getting all the facts. I think that’s why she easily allowed Shane to stay in the garage apartment.
Reading about Shane was like reading about that handsome, mysterious man that you just know there’s something about him, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. I loved that he was a man who wanted to make it on his own instead of falling prey to his family fortune. His heart seemed genuine, a true sacred bond member.
If you are looking for a short and sweet story about hope and love, this novella is for you! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a honest review which I have given
