A Day in the Life – It could be YOU!

Hello reader friends! I’m sorry to report that today’s guest will not be able to share her day with us. She had a family emergency – please pray for her. I’m not going to mention names, or the situation out of respect, however God knows and will still hear your prayers. I know she’ll be grateful.

It’s been a good six months of A Day in the Life. But as I see some open spots in my calendar over the next couple of months, and throughout the end of the year, my mind starting racing around trying to think of who I could ask. Then it dawned on me, I should ask you! I love getting a glimpse into the lives of authors, their pets, and their characters. But maybe there’s someone YOU want to see on a Day in the Life.

Could be an author.

Could be a character.

Maybe a blogger.

Maybe a pet you see all over social media.

The sky’s the limit my friends. So please, share in the comments who you would like to see. And share with your friends. Ask their opinion. If you know an author or blogger you’d like to see on here, share with them and introduce us. I’ve got some ideas myself, but want to hear from YOU.

Thank you my friends. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!!

  1. oooooooo, the options! The opportunities!

If you haven’t already done Pepper Basham or one of her characters, I’d love see her here. Oh, man. There are so many options, and well, I think I should see who else you’ve had here. I think it would be neat to hear about a day in the life of a literary agent. Tessa Emily Hall?

Actually, Pepper was the very first one I did, last year, and kind of the inpsiration behind the series. I like the literary agent idea. I’ve got some work to do!!

  2. Paula Shreckhise

Roseanna White, Kristi Hunter, Jaime Jo Wright, Carolyn Miller, Beth White, Sarah Sundin. To name a few.

  3. It would be fun to do a day in the life of a Charles Dickens character (like Pip from Great Expectations), or a Jane Austen character (maybe Elizabeth’s mom). Both authors created such amazing characters. There’s a lot to work with there. ?

I’d love to have you as a guest Melissa!! Let’s figure out a date together!!

Who doesn’t love Carrie?! We are definetely going to have her one day 🙂

  4. I shared this with my fellow Pelican Book Group authors. I wouldn’t mind coming back late summer or early fall to do a day in the life of one of my characters if you still slots filled.

  6. Hello Jessica, If you have a free date between September 13-21, I’d enjoy writing a post about One day in the life of a PGA caddy to go along with my contemporary romance between two caddies. Yes, women do caddy. I think you have my email below. Please let me know, and if you have a date, your guidelines. Thanks for offering.

  7. What a fun idea! As I ponder this opportunity, a few of my petulant inspirational romance characters are tapping me on the shoulder, begging for spotlight. Particularly Rose Essa, the Syrian ballerina (Yes, this is a thing!) who won’t perform on stage anymore. She’d like to tell you how hard it is to live within strict moral boundaries –one mustn’t evoke the wrath of God — and the challenge of living her dream through her ballet students here in America at her thriving academy, Rose’s Ballet Academy. If you’ve got room for her to share a typical day, please let me know.

  8. What a fun blog you have! I’d love to do a guest post on “a day in the life of”. I’m a fellow Pelican author with Kelly Goshorn.

  9. I should know when my new book will release by around mid July. If you still have slots available then, I’d love to have one for a day in the life of my main character.
