Hi everyone and Happy Friday! It’s been a long and tiring week, especially at work. I am ready for the weekend, that’s for sure. So what does one do when she is tired and worn out? Read a book by one of her favorites! So this week I’m celebrating Beth Wiseman. Beth’s newest book, Home All Along just released this week, so you are getting this first line hot off the press. I have not yet read a book by Beth that I didn’t like, so I know that reading this is going to put a smile on my face. Do you have an author that makes you smile even when you’re super stressed? To be honest, I have several. I think I chose the Amish route this week because I needed to live vicariously through the character in the simple life! Well, simpler than mine I like to think!

What a wonderful idea for Friday! The first line of this nonfiction book I am reading is: “At dawn across the Islamic World, sonorous voices usher the sun over the horizon.” This the start of Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi! I can’t wait to learn more about the Muslim people through this, which will hopefully expand my understanding of them!

I can relate to being worn out after an especially hard week at work. I hope you get some good reading time in this weekend to recover!
