My Review

This was the first book I’ve read by Debra so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have just started to read western romances as well, so it’s still a new genre for me. I have to say, I really enjoyed this book! I liked Debra’s writing style. I love it when an author gives us glimpses of what each character thinks, so you really see both sides of the story.

Maddie was my favorite character. She was so tough around the edges, and wanted to appear so strong to the others, but had this real soft interior that she hid well, or at least tried to. I thought her and Cliff were perfect for each other. Both hard headed, stubborn, and not willing to back down. In some instances you wouldn’t think such personalities would go together, but Debra crafted this romance perfectly.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review which I have given.
