Sometimes forgiveness is the best Christmas gift you can give.
Emma and Ryan’s story touched your heart in “What God Brings Together”, now witness their union this Christmas novella. Eight years kept them apart, there was no way that a little bad weather will stop them now.
I’m so glad Melissa chose to write this wonderful novella surrounding Emma and Ryan’s nuptials as I felt sad they were not included in the first book! What a great reminder that God is in charge and things do not always go the way we want them to go. The important thing to remember is to pray and leave it in Gods hands, and that’s exactly what the characters did here.
I loved how Melissa chose to have one son (wont say which one!) have a hard time with forgiving Ryan in this novella. I think it showed a realistic response to their situation instead of the automatic happy ending. Don’t get me wrong, I love a happy ending but that is not always what happens in life. I love reading a storyline that feels like it could really happen, good or bad.
Anxiously awaiting the start of Melissa’s next book! Make sure to come back and see the blog tour posting for her next book Dance and Be Glad on Monday!
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review which I have given.
